His clinical specialty is Emergency Medicine and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Global Health at the University of Washington's Schools of Medicine and Public Health respectively. His academic specialties include global health, health systems development and disaster medicine. He lives in Seattle, WA with his family.
