About the Author
Nick Spencer broke into the comic-book industry with Existence 2.0, published by Image in 2009 and slated for adaptation into a feature film by Paramount Pictures. He has since worked on a sequel, Existence 3.0, and the ongoing series Morning Glories and Bedlam for Image, as well as T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents for DC. For Marvel, he wrote Secret Avengers, Iron Man 2.0 and Ultimate Comics X-Men before relaunching Secret Avengers and launching the villain-centric Superior Foes of Spider-Man for Marvel NOW! Spencer brought the comedic-underdog tone of the latter book to the pages of Ant-Man, and then shocked readers by turning the Sentinel of Liberty against the world in the pages of Captain America: Steve Rogers, Captain America: Sam Wilson and the event series Secret Empire. Spanish illustrator Daniel Acuña began his professional career with the publication of the French series Claus & Simon, later reprinted by the popular American magazine Heavy Metal. Acuña then burst onto the American comics scene with DC's Green Lantern and Flash. For Marvel, he has illustrated such popular series as Young X-Men, Eternals, Black Widow, X-Men Legacy, Avengers, New Avengers, Uncanny Avengers and Wolverine. Angel Unzueta has demonstrated his flair for super hero action with iconic Avengers, illustrating Captain America: Sam Wilson, Iron Man and the team-up book Captain America/Iron Man. His credits also include Marvel's Star Wars series and a lengthy run on Star Wars: Poe Dameron. French comic-book artist Paul Renaud burst into American comics on titles including Image's Fear Agent and Invincible, and what he describes as his magnum opus: Red Sonja: Vacant Shell for Dynamite Entertainment. His artwork has graced Marvel titles including Astonishing X-Men, Thunderbolts and Ms. Marvel.
