During his impressive career, he has worked as the director of Doctors Without Borders, he has made children's and youth shows for national television, he has been the editor-in-chief of two children's magazines, and he has published a successful series of articles on important life issues. Karel loves traveling, sailing, playing tennis, cross-country skiing, swimming, and reading.
Steffie Padmos studied illustration at the art academies of Maastricht (the Netherlands) and Bath (UK). She obtained a master's degree in scientific illustration. Because of this background, Steffie has a lot of experience in depicting complex biological and medical subjects. Her work is characterized by craftsmanship, an eye for detail, and an interest in nature. Steffie lives in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) with her two children and partner.
