About the Author
Kimberly Humphrey wrote this book as an ode to Black Men. She feels Black men are severely under-valued and unappreciated. This is her way of giving back and saying thank you.
She has one daughter and is a foster parent to three siblings. She lives in the low country of South Carolina where she founded a non-profit teen organization called Teens of Power. She was in the U.S. Navy for ten years and stationed on three different ships, the U.S.S Merrimack, U.S.S Samuel Gompers, and finally, the U.S.S Abraham Lincoln.
Kimberly received her Bachelor's in Communications from Paul Quinn College, the only HBCU in Dallas, and she received her Master's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Management of Organizational Leadership.
