Still Rhymes with Dre is me thinking out loud about love, self, and being human. I write about temporary loves, learning myself more deeply, and the annoyance of getting good at continuing-continuing when things don't work out, when doors close, when love ends, and when future you demands you to continue.

These poems live in the in-between of choices and feelings, whether fleeting or lasting. Some of them I even cringe at now, but that's part of being letting yourself feel and process emotions (blah blah blah lol).

In both writing and living, I've promised myself to lead with vulnerability, because it honors who I am and creates space for connection with others. While these poems come from my own experiences (obvs), I hope you find pieces of yourself in the lines-or discover a feeling you didn't have words for yet. To me, art is most successful when it connects.

Still Rhymes with Dre is simply my journal in the middle of living the full spectrum of life-and I can't wait to keep living more.
