A graduate of the California Institute of Integral Studies with an MA in clinical psychology/somatic psychotherapy, she is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy (USABP).
