Journey Through a Forest of Fiction, Fantasy and Poetry is the third of the three books, Joyce has written and is a collection of stories that the author has created, either real or imagined. From the first fictional story of a beautiful, young female giraffe of royalty and how she pursued her love interest to create her own family, to a fictional story, that could also be true, of a family struggling through the addiction of alcoholism. Joyce shares an emotional depiction of what it's like to be married to a truck driver who is also married to the road, along with a poem about her pride of being an American and its flag and what it means to her. She proudly shares a story of how an old trunk that was regretfully given away, became a family heirloom and her connection to the person she rescued it from. She tells of how her dream vacation was interrupted by illness and how a simple " Hello" created a lifelong friendship.
Joyce writes with the intention of piquing the readers interest and imagination to keep them emersed and leave them wanting more. Joyce believes that the ability to create stories, both fictional and non-fictional is a God given gift and it's her responsibility to share the gift.
