December 7, 2019) was a Scottish-Canadian science fiction writer, musician, environmental activist and political thinker. He lived in Vancouver BC working in the healthcare industry, and was a loving father to four children. His completed unpublished novel, Onyx, explores timely themes such as the impact of capitalism and colonialism, the beauty of human connection, and art as a means of spiritual purpose. His daughter, Elizabeth, published his novel posthumously so that the world could enjoy his story as intended.
