The best sales books each solve a different part of the job, so the fastest way to choose one is to name the stage where your own deals keep stalling out. A rep who cannot get a first meeting needs a different shelf than a founder who gets the meeting and then loses the deal at the price. Those are not the same problem and they do not have the same answer.
Selling tends to break down in four predictable places: nobody answers, the conversation stays shallow, the deal stalls at the price, and a good week never repeats. Naming which of those you are living in narrows ten books to one or two very quickly. Some are field manuals you work through with a notebook, others hand you a single idea you can use on the next call.
