Called on by Intelligence services to investigate a mysterious series of UFO sightings in rural South Wales, secret spy, Peter Paget uncovered a tale he would have found hard to believe had he not heard it first-hand from credible witnesses. Under the cover of writing a book, the first edition of The Welsh Triangle, the author took the testimonies of villagers and farmers who were experiencing ongoing sightings of strange, silver-suited figures, saucer-shaped UFOs and other unexplainable phenomena near their homes and businesses. The goings-on had been taking place in the shadow of RAF Brawdy, a US Air Force base that housed top-secret underwater surveillance technology that seemed to be of clear interest to these extra-terrestrial visitors. In this 2018 updated edition nearly 40 years later, Peter Paget unveils more details he could not then reveal as well as fascinating information subsequently discovered, including some of his own knowledge gained from personal contacts with ETs
About the Author
Peter Paget was born in London just after the end of the Second World War and grew up in London and the West Country. Aged just 17, he advised the UK government's Chief Scientific Advisor when he invented a technique to mitigate damage to the coastline of the South West of England from an oil spill. Peter donated the invention, free of patent or royalty, to Her Majesty's Government who later sold it to BP Oil. BP developed it for use across the world. The contacts he made led to him being co-opted into the British Intelligence community. He has worked undercover on various tasks and assignments for the past 50 years. During this time he also wrote two books and worked variously as a lecturer, horse breeder, alternative therapist and international adventurer! Over the years, Peter has spent time as both a researcher and programme contributor for the BBC, ghostwritten books, made educational programmes for students and the British Army Schools and written under a pen name. Peter's two paperbacks, The Welsh Triangle and UFO-UK have been translated from English into French and Spanish translations and have sold over half a million copies. He is now updating these to reflect more recent events. He was co-winner of The Royal Television Society's Award for Regional Television along with Michael Cole and the late Doug Salmon for "Weekend" weekly TV magazine, BBC TV East.
