This book gives a comprehensive review of all published evidence relevant to 'lunar gardening, ' i.e how cycles of the Moon affect agriculture. It evaluates traditions stretching over two and a half thousand years, relating them to modern field trials and laboratory tests. It argues that the subject is one of real practical benefit to organic farmers and gardeners.

The author has published England's Moon-gardening calendar for several decades and has worked on several Bio-dynamic farms.
