Zieman, Hugo: - Hugo Ziemann served as a steward in the White House. Also he was caterer for Prince Napoleon, steward of the famous Hotel Splendide in Paris. Also he conducted the celebrated Brunswick Café in New York, and gave to the Hotel Richelieu in Chicago a cuisine that won the applause of even the gourmets of foreign lands. Co-author F.L. Gillette has made a life-long study of cookery.
