In the late 19th century, a well-to-do American family moved into the stately old British manse called Canterville Chase, looking to refit it with the latest gadgets. The clan's willful daughter (voiced by Emily Carey) is unimpressed by it all, and mostly so by the 300-year-old phantom (Stephen Fry) that haunts the dwelling, and who wants the encroachers to move on.
