Description
Small Changes. Big Impact.
Climate change and sustainability are part of every choice we make every day; we know we need to be environmentally responsible, but how?
Raising three active kids, Fredrika Syren and her family made a commitment to go Zero Waste over 10 years ago when faced with this same question. Shifting their habits gradually to live mindfully in the environment, they made small-scale changes to do their part for climate change.
From removing the household trash can to composting everything and growing their own food, the adventures of teaching their children how to live a greener lifestyle in an ordinary San Diego suburb yields the practical guidebook that became Zero Waste for Families. Syren shares their steps - and missteps - to guide families from low waste to zero waste with small changes, tips and tricks that add up to a BIG positive impact on the planet.
