Description
I was motivated to write this book because a proverbial wisdom that I quoted to my fourteen-year-old grandson impacted his thinking on how to stay out of future trouble in school. This book describes 40 wisdoms expressed by timeless proverbs, short sayings that are of value in how we think about four aspects of life: the way we behave; actions we take; insights we have; and general thoughts. Examples of proverbial wisdoms that are highlighted in the book include: do unto others as you would have other do unto you; action speaks louder than words; positive thinking aids all endeavors; and it takes two to tango. The book describes the meaning of each proverbial wisdom, origin, and examples illustrating practical value. Overall, the book is organized in a way for people of all ages to think about the many aspects of everyday life.
