Description
A super strain of syphilis that is resistant to all known medical cures is spread unknowingly to the Chicago of the 70's. It rapidly infects the persons neuro system and leaves little time before death. Gino infects the mafia chief's daughter among others and must find a cure before her brother finds him for revenge. The only hope is with a mysterious woman whom he learns about in the caribbean island of Monsterrat. Will he outlast the disease effects and the mob as he makes his way to the unknown Voodoo cure?

Ric Ombrem resides in the Chicago area. He is involved with and is active in all forms of artistic endeavors-writing, poetry, painting sculpting, film and photography. He has degrees from the University of Illinois in Psychology and Pharmacy masters from Roosevelt university and attended medical school in the Caribbean. he has taught at several colleges and universities in the Midwest and travels extensively in the U.S and Europe.
