Leroy Johnson was born and raised in the ghetto and knew the hood well. As an ex - con turn detective, Johnson still couldn't shake away his demons. As a two faced crooked cop he manages to keep his colleagues in the dark, but when terror strikes the city of Charlotte his secret past begins to unravels as he is forced to hunt down a crazed psychopath who goes on a killing rampage that ultimately turns personal, and it's up to Johnson and his dysfunctional sidekicks to find out why and to bring this disturbed killer to justice.
