The Lurker at the Threshold: A Horror Mystery

Devlin Macky makes a grave error when purchasing a copy of The Necronomicon. After a few drinks, he unwittingly opens the First Gate, unleashing a horde of monsters on the city of Innsport.

With the help of Creighton Capshaw, the museum curator, Duke Givens and Newt Bardhoff, his secretary, Millie von Clydesburgh, and Mr. Kalabraise, Millie's fearless cocker spaniel, Macky and the team try to put the city back together before the Thirteenth and final gate opens.

But Yog-Sothoth, the Lurker at the Threshold, is poised to enter from the Outer Darkness, fulfilling a desire he's had for over a millennium: the eradication of the human race.
