Budding, Kirsty: - Kirsty Budding is a British-Australian playwright based in Canberra, Australia. She holds degrees in Literature and History from the Australian National University. Kirsty runs a theatre company specialising in drama education and youth theatre. Her first book, 'Paper Cuts: Comedic and Satirical Monologues for Audition or Performance' won the 2018 ACT Writing and Publishing Award for Fiction. Her new collection, 'The 100: New and Classic Monologues for Children & Young Adults' was inspired by her students and their need for quality audition monologues and monologues for performance practice.
