Brahms - Reger: Song Transcriptions - CD

Rudolf Buchbinder / Brahms - Reger: Song Transcriptions / "When I stumbled upon the treasures that are Brahms's songs and that Max Reger arranged for piano solo, I could not have been more enthusiastic. I found it profoundly moving to immerse myself in a world filled with these precious jewels, to explore a universe that is a world unto itself and allow myself to be drawn into the undertow of words that have been cast in musical form. I hope that my listeners will enjoy this journey into an inner world and that their curiosity will be piqued sufficiently for them to find the time to explore each individual song and experience the intensity of these works of art, which dispense entirely with the need for words." -Rudolf Buchbinder
