Reverend J.P. Arendzen, D.D., was born in 1873. A native of Amsterdam, he decided to spend his life as a priest preaching the faith in England. He was known for his eloquence and clarity, and was named one of England's "Preachers of the Century" by the DailyMail. He is the author of Heaven Sense and Purgatory and Heaven. In the latter, the Reverend details the nature, joys and sorrows of Purgatory, as well as the freshness and infinite happiness of Heaven. J.P. Arendzen died in 1954.
