Description
Ringers from all over the world have shared their Lord of the Rings experiences with editor Catherine Kohman. Deeply felt tales of newly forged friendship, courage and inspiration, joy and loss fill the pages. Whether these Ringers' personal stories make you laugh or move you to tears, you will likely recognize something of your own Lord of the Rings journey within these pages. --From the publisher "...Interesting, informative, and at times truly engaging and moving. All in all, a rather charming book...." "The curious thing is that after following their journeys through love, tragedy, self-discovery, joy and new beginnings, the way Tolkien and his works were there for so many of them just at the right time began to feel ... just like the guiding hand of the unseen presence that many readers have sensed pervading 'The Lord of the Rings' itself." --Hilary V. Longstaff, Amon Hen, Bulletin of the Tolkien Society
