Description
The ocean's waters have risen, leaving only scattered islands and desolation for the known world. Jeremiah had surrendered to his place in it as an orphan bouncing around the child slave trade and avoiding run-ins with the tyrannous Command navy until a shipwreck guides him onto a path of destiny. Giants, mysterious woodland creatures and the evil Lord Demetrius, conqueror of the sea, give Jeremiah clues that his ordinary path may not be so ordinary after all. Navigating through new friendships and ancient vendettas, Jeremiah must find out for himself if he is made to follow a path of light or if the darkness will consume him.
