Details: Jeannie C Riley: Harper Valley PTA (Sun Records 70th/Remastered 2022) Discovered by Shelby Singleton, Jeannie C Riley rose to fame upon the recording of Tom T. Hall's "Harper Valley P.T.A". The track (which was recorded live in two takes) shot to #1 on the Country and Pop charts in 1968, making the crossover hit singer the first woman to hold the spots simultaneously.
