Description
In the book that follows there are many thoughts about the virtue of humility, which have all stood the test of time. Each of the translated thoughts of Fr. Cajetan have one purpose and that is to drive home the all-importance of the virtue of humility. Fr. Cajetan not only goes into many sentiments which form affective reasons for its practice, but also gives a complete examen on the virtue of humility at the end of the book. What gives this virtue its glory is that Jesus himself, the Word made flesh, modeled it in his own life. We need only turn to him in the Eucharistic tabernacle to see how he has perfected it. At the End of the book there is an extensive examen on the virtue of humility with its moral implications. It is followed by a section of St. Thomas Aquinas on Humility. The book has been re-edited to contain an extensive index.
