Description
Impressive debut from filmmaker David Gordon Green is a lyrical, highly praised drama set in a small, rundown North Carolina town around Independence Day, where a multi-racial group of children finds it's own moral code. Nasia dumps boyfriend Buddy to go out with George, a quiet boy with a handicap that forces him to wear a football helmet, whom Nasia sees as having great potential.
