Dear Granddaughter

She was once a girl growing up in Mississippi: surviving a premature birth and overcoming obstacles due to family and divorce. However, author Patsy Rodgers went on to a successful career and family life, shaped by a healthy love of God and His blessings. What she experienced as a young teen encouraged Patsy to see the need for Christian advice for tween and teen girls. Her new advice book, Dear Granddaughter, What I Want You to Know, is a grandmother's advice to her granddaughter, extracted from the author's family ancestry and stories of her siblings and blended families. She recounts her miraculous birth as a preemie to the healing from her parents' divorce and waging war with God against her struggles with body image. In all, Dear Granddaughter is to remind young girls that God created them with a purpose and in the perfect image of His son, Jesus.
