With a background in TV and Radio Production, acting, and painting, she found her true passion in writing poems and children's stories for her son. Her stories impart lessons about science, nature, friendship, feminism, and social values through whimsical storylines and lovable characters. She lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband and son.Miray, Yalcinkaya: - Miray Yalcinkaya is a visual designer/ illustrator who has a passion for magical nature and designing for children. She has a background in interior architecture and worked in Istanbul in the field until starting a digital agency with another daydreamer which focused on web design, digital illustrations for books and apps. She is the creative director of Unita, a shared work-space and a creative community in Los Angeles that they opened in 2017 with her husband along with their friends.
