After the Ash Settles - Paperback

In a devastated world where evil reigns, one woman stands apart.

"Smoke, ash, and the smell of death will choke the air, turn the sky red, and block out the sun..."

Ten years ago, violence ravaged cities across the world. Evil ran rampant without reign, wiping out everything in its path. In a matter of days, all semblance of humanity was gone. In its place- a world filled with chaos, violence, and death. Those that managed to survive were forced into hiding, living in the shadows, plagued by years of strife, famine and death.

"A great evil will rise up to enslave the innocent and weak."

A power struggle ensued, leaving what remained to be ruled by the most brutal of mankind. New world powers vying for dominance. All with one common goal-Power and control.

"...in our darkest hour, time of greatest need... a warrior will rise up and come to our aid."

Ava lost everything that fateful day ten years ago. Rather than conform to the new world order, she has spent the last decade quietly resisting. Living under the radar, helping those she can. In the isolated harsh climate of North America, she has created a hidden community for her newfound family to live free of the horrors of the outside world. A safe haven she will do anything to protect.

Take a journey through the imagination of J.M. Harrison in this post-apocalyptic dystopian drama with a multi-perspective twist.
