Description
Noah and a 6 Feet Apart Team of students, all teens, developed this book through writing, art, and de-sign. They manifested their feelings in all sorts of ways. Through a poem, a student expressed the pain she has experienced. Through music, another student wrote a song about her feelings during the crisis. Through photography a student found her voice. Their commitment to make this book a reality was essential to its significance. But it isn't that we can get fixed with such techniques. It is a process that we all must recognize that will take time. It is being authentic to one another, it is understanding ourselves. It is finding a sense of belonging. This book reminds us of the challenges of life - but through the eyes of teens. They have courage to explore who they are, revealing their true selves, the essence of who they are. They also found each other, and gained a sense of belonging. We applaud their courage and hope you embrace your own courage to guide you to a life in which such challenge and fear can be reduced and at least sometimes replaced with optimism, joy and love.
