Description
As a brand new father, it has been a joy to watch my son grow and learn. He hasn't even said his first word yet, but the woodworker in me can't wait to teach him all about tools and how to make things with his hands. It's going to be a few years before he can be out in the shop with me, but until then I can teach him the names for each of daddy's tools. It's important to teach a young child all the important words that they need to know in order to encourage their language development. Kids need to learn colors, numbers, animals, and a long list of other things. After teaching the important stuff, a few fun words like electric drill and stud finder will only broaden their vocabulary. Besides, it will be nice when I send my son out into the shop to get the locking pliers, that I won't have to worry about him coming back with the channel locks.
