Twas the Nightcap Before Christmas

"T'was the nightcap before Christmas
That caused mischief and mayhem
and Mom wearing stockings
when she should have been filling them..."

In this parody of the much-loved Christmas poem, things get a little anarchic when mom and dad drink a little more than one festive tipple and it is up to Santa Claus to save the day.


About the Author
Katie Blackburn lives in London with her husband and young son. Her first book Where the Wild Moms Are was written in tribute to Maurice Sendak's: Where the Wild Things Are, Katie's favorite children's book. It was partly inspired by too many sleepless nights and wild days spent with a young baby. Sholto Walker is based in a village near Bath. Sholto trained to be a painter, but his talent for drawing led him into illustration. He's happiest when he can take an idea and turn it into a picture. Cycling is one of Sholto's main passions and for a while he even thought of becoming a professional.
