The Happy Pumpkin, Patch is a children's Thanksgiving harvest story about the gift of sharing. The poetic bedtime story is illustrated by the author, Carol Dabney. Set in the period times of the first pilgrims coming to America leading up to the first Thanksgiving day. It's about a young man who labors for the pumpkin seed, struggles with the weather, waters it ands delights in watching it grow. The beauty of sharing with others and in so doing fines a wonderful surprisingly happily ever after ending to this sweet children's story.
