- The Adventures of Mildred & Pearl and The Luggage
Description
The Adventures of Mildred and Pearl and the Luggage, is a story written in a funny, lyrical rhyme. The story introduces the reader to two silly characters; an impractical beauty queen, Mildred, and a practical sloppy artist, Pearl. The story exaggerates a series of ridiculous escapades and problems encountered when traveling with expensive clothing and excessive luggage.
Solving any dilemma begins with an understanding of the problem. Mildred travels with too much luggage. Pearl proposes a travel list that is simple and reasonable for all travelers. However, Mildred believes that fashion is as important as the trip, and that the only way to experience and live any adventure the way it should be lived, is with the right clothing or costume. Pearl, on the other hand, could care less about travel fashion. Pearl wants to see the world. She doesn't care what she looks like.
With good journey's ahead, Pearl is seduced by Mildred's traveling proposal, "I'll pay the expenses if you carry the bags".
In this problem-solving story, Mildred teaches Pearl to travel the world like kings! And, Pearl teaches Mildred that queens must carry some of her own things.
Is there a better solution?
