She is an avid reader, loves to write, watch classic movies and attend musical theatre.Peters, Laura: - Flowers and watercolors are Laura Peters' passions. She paints from her home on a peaceful farm near Berthoud, Colorado overlooking her flower gardens where she lives with her husband Jim. Laura's love of art began as a child when she created art in many mediums before watercolor became her favorite. She began painting whimsical animals and became a full-time artist when her daughter was born in 1987. She now enjoys teaching art classes to all ages in her art studio. Laura is a nationally known muralist, illustrator, portrait artist and award-winning watercolorist.
