Small-time singer Marc (Laurent Lucas) is forced to stay at an isolated inn after his car breaks down in the Belgian countryside. The establishment's strange innkeeper (Jackie Berroyer) becomes convinced Marc is the reincarnation of his deceased (and unfaithful) wife, and possessed by sadistic fantasies, subjects Marc to a horrifying ordeal.
