About the Author
Gregory, Rick S.: - Rick Gregory was born in Springfield, Tennessee on August 19, 1950. He received his B.A. from the University of Indianapolis and an M.A. and Ph.D. in American History from Vanderbilt University. He and his wife, Patti Cohea Gregory, live on a farm next to the Red River in Adams, Tennessee. They have two daughters, Suzanne and Caroline, and two grandchildren, Hailey and Jameson. His is semi-retired and spends his free time researching and writing history and kayaking the Red River and its tributaries.
