She has studied health and wellness, culinary arts, and nutrition for more than 20 years. Her hobbies include reading, writing, cooking, hiking and traveling. Her family is composed of her husband Tom, a blended family of ten children, four of whom were adopted as teenagers from Ukraine. She is a grandmother of seven.
