About the Author
Professor Gus (Gustavo Garcia) is a Cuban born artist raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he studied graphic arts, photography, illustration, and fine arts. His exposure to the vibrant colors and culture of Miami led to inspirational public works that have been displayed throughout the country. His background in graphics arts has been a springboard for him to author and illustrate children's books. Although he never completed his college education, he came from a long line of educators, which might explain his love for motivating and educating others. This also led to the pen name, Professor Gus. Among the stories he has authored are children's poetry, rhyme, and narrative fiction, all with a deeper meaning that can be enjoyed by all ages.
