He has most recently appeared as Dr Thomas Choake in Poldark for the BBC and as the psychotic drugs baron Shank, in Sky's black comedy Sick Note. Killing Rock is the third novel in his Rock crime series featuring DS Tamara Sullivan and DCI Gus Broderick of the Royal Gibraltar Police. He lives in Ampthill, Bedfordshire with his wife, actress Amy Robbins and two daughters.
