Amazon Reviewers: "I was gripped from the very first paragraph and read the book in one sitting. This has to be the best book of its kind that I have read for a long time."
"I could not put the book down. I am from the USA so some of the British terms made me smile but it is one of the best books I have read. Can't wait to read the next one. So glad to have found it!!"
About the Author
Biography Carolyn Mahony grew up in North London, the youngest of three children. She has wanted to write for almost as long as she can remember and her teenage years were filled with half started manuscripts usually based around Georgette Heyer's Regency romances. She continued to scribble away over the years, finishing half a dozen novels along the way - but these never seemed to find their way out of the large drawer into which she stuffed them in her study. Her debut novel, Cry From The Grave, is a crime novel - although there is just a touch of romance in there to keep the Romantic in her satisfied. People always wonder what gives an author the idea for their book, and for Carolyn it's the, 'What If', scenario. She is drawn to the idea of how dramatically our lives can change in an instant - due to some random happening that could never have been foreseen. But although her topics can be hard hitting, she veers away from darkness in her writing, and likes to have a strong, independent protagonist who wins out in the end.
