Daddy's Home (DVD)

Just when it looked like sensitive and sweet-natured radio producer Brad Whitaker (Will Ferrell) was making some headway in his hard-fought battle for the respect and affection of his wife’s (Linda Cardellini) kids from a previous marriage, their dad-confident and cut freewheeling man’s man Dusty Mayron (Mark Wahlberg)-decided to re-enter their lives. Brad’s hapless efforts to cope with the competition and hold his family together fuel this frenetic comic hit. Thomas Haden Church, Bobby Cannavale, Hannibal Buress also star. 95 min.
