Description
Janin is easy to read individual story that highlights the life of Janin, her parents and her younger brother Bouboul as they live, learn and play. With relatable imagery of family, friends, school, and fun, Janin is an easy to love character and a perfect story for young children to get familiar with basic vocabulary. Janin is a story that provides a glimpse into the ways in which children's lives and ambitions are relatable, no matter where they live, the language that they speak or the color of their skin. The original Haitian text is displayed next to the English so that this beautiful language and rich culture can be preserved and passed down from one generation to the next. Sure to delight families of the Haitian diaspora, this story will also expand the mind of any child who is curious about other cultures.
