About the Author
Betancur, Paula: - Born in Medellin, Colombia, Paula moved to New York at the age of 4. She is grateful to have lived her formative years amongst so much diversity. It has enriched her life and contributed to her curiosity for different cultures and people. Paula, a self-professed kid at heart, feels happiest when she is in nature. Besides practicing self-love and self-care through breathwork, yoga, and other practices, Paula also enjoys trying out new things like stand up paddle board yoga and DIY projects like flower crowns. Reading, traveling and cooking also nourish her soul. As an ambivert, times of solitude and quiet help recharge her spirit as much as adventure does. This proud mom and curious soul hopes that through these messages of self-love and self-care techniques, she positively contributes to the collective healing.Kellam, Paul: - Paul, a freelance Illustrator based in North Florida, is quite a 'Mellow Fellow' himself. He describes the process of creating as his happy place. His work strives to stray away from realism in most cases, as a form of escape from the chaotic real world. Through his vivid hue vibrations, and expressive characters, he hopes to lighten a few spirits, and bring smiles to those who'll view these images. Paul also loves to nerd out with friends, catching up on the latest anime and trying new foods. They're always down to find a new sushi or ramen spot to hang!! Music is also another of Paul's passions. He can't play an instrument to save his life, but he loves to take times of solitude to sit and decipher the meaning beneath the melodies. Like life, it's quite beautiful when you take time to stop and listen.
