John Charles Ryle (1816-1900) was a prolific writer, a faithful pastor, and a dynamic preacher. This collection of sermons and tracts titled Wheat or Chaff was originally published as a collection in 1853. This is a collection of Bishop Ryle's most searching sermons which is probably precisely the need of the church in this present day. As usually J.C. Ryle's sermons are so timeless being as relevant today as the day that he preached them.
