Ziphalie and the Sky Hunters - Paperback

Ziph, a showhouse acrobat, is just short on rent when she knocks on the wrong door and is pulled into a secret lab. Sedated and stuffed in a drop pod, she is transported to a rocky planet in another galaxy. When she ventures from her pod, she befriends a serpent large enough to eat her, and together they run from a pair of hunters.

Forced to make the hard choice to distract the hunters and help her serpent friend escape, she sets off a chase filled with evasive acrobatics, until caught by one of the hunters. Dacket and Whit are finishing their sky hunting practice when Dacket catches the scent of a serpent, and when they travel to investigate, they find a bushy tailed woman trying to run from them. Deciding he wants her on his hunting team, it takes Dacket's skill and determination to catch her. Dacket has every intention of turning this talented woman into a sky hunter. He just needs to convince her to join them.
