Vatican Veil - Paperback

Two mysterious deaths in the center of Rome, apparently unconnected to each other, shake the heart of Christianity: a lawyer is murdered near Castel Sant'Angelo and a university professor, engaged in Artificial Intelligence development, dies under suspicious circumstances.

Vatican Veil is a spy thriller set between Rome, London and China, in which four brilliant university students find themselves involved in an investigation that leads them to discover a delicate international web larger than themselves. The Vatican and China - two very distant worlds - seem to have common interests, whose implications could change global geopolitical balances. While British secret services try to shed light on the mysteries, the crucial role of a sophisticated Artificial Intelligence emerges that could reveal truths buried in time. In a crescendo of tension, the protagonists move through the shadows of a contemporary Rome that is always ready to shuffle the cards, where nothing is as it seems and every answer leads to new questions.

Giuliano Zorloni builds a compelling and extremely current plot by weaving together elements of technological espionage, geopolitics and thriller in a story that explores the complex relationships between power, technology and international diplomacy.
