Details: Perhaps a little confusingly, Van Halen III is the eleventh studio album by the legendary hard rock band. Less confusing than the name are the songs: the sort of hard-hitting, powerful, straight-forward rock and roll that Van Halen is known for and that the amazing album cover-a man being shot point-blank by a cannon-implies. Featuring vocalist Gary Cherone, the band's third official singer and the reason for the III, this is another stalwart entry in the band's incredible legacy.
