The narrative will jumpstart, freshen and transport previous Colorado Trail hikers back to their own experience. It will also paint a picture for new hikers of what daily trail life looks like hiking all day and eating your meals seated in the dirt.

Sprinkled along the way are a bunch of nuggets on things like the history of the Colorado Trail, wilderness areas, wildflowers, hiker lingo, hiker hacks, naming origins, a famous cannibal, trail name stories and tips to bring back from trail life.

The book also contains the anecdotes and advice of the quirky people I met along the trail and the transformational experience I had on the (mile-for-mile) most beautiful trail in America.
