Description
In the 17th century, reclusive composer Jean de Saint-Colombe (Jean-Pierre Marielle) turned away the young Marin Marais (Guillaume Depardieu), who'd come seeking an apprenticeship. The old man's daughter and protégé Madeleine (Anne Brochet) opted to share her father's teachings... and an ill-starred relationship would set the course of their lives.
